Application of Pure Expanded PTFE Joint Sealant
When used with duct flanges in cleanroom environments, the ductwork serves to transport air between different points within buildings or offices. In industrial facilities, duct systems are commonly used for ventilation and cooling. The areas where the arrows indicate are where the PTFE gasket is attached to the flange.
This sealant functions similarly to general PTFE tape, offering resistance to concentrated chemicals and high temperatures. However, it has enhanced softness and flexibility, making it ideal for applications with Large Flange, Glass Flange, Resin Lining, Duct Flange, and Low Torque requirements.
